Watch: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Perform New Track On ‘Arsenio Hall’
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have their sights set on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and are also crusading for a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone and Flesh-N-Bone stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show to discuss their crusade and promote their new release, Art of War: World War III, released last month.
“When we started rapping in the early ’80s, it was like either you sing or you rap,” Layzie Bone told Hall of the group’s come-up. “If you was rapping, you was hard. If you was singing, you was soft in the hood. We was, like, just around a burning barrel in our neighborhood, over the years put more and more words into our sentences and then flipping them to the cadences of the beat….We married hardcore rap and melodic sounds together.”
The storied Cleveland rap group proved that with the performance of their melodic hit “Crossroads,” as well as the new track “Everything 100” which featured Ty Dolla $ign.
