Rumer Willis Covers Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” in Concert
Demi and Bruce should be proud! Rumer Willis has become a staple at Hollywood’s Sayers Club — sharing her impressive vocal chops at the venue for weekly intimate concerts. And on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the 25-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis tapped into the current zeitgeist by covering the latest number one hit from a certain Miley Cyrus: “Wrecking Ball.”
With a full band’s support, Rumer — fully dressed, unlike Miley in the infamous video clip — soulfully crooned the intense ballad impressively. Once the searing performance was through, the Songbyrd star got an enthusiastic round of applause.
At Willis’ Sept. 17 show at Sayers Club — she sang “I Put a Spell on You” and “Son of a Preacher Man,” among other hits — audience members included her mom Moore, 50, and boyfriend Jayson Blair.
